caring for your wall hanging is easy, pinky promise.
We take so much pride in making sure your order is thoughtfully and carefully packaged, but not gonna lie — it will likely need some extra love once you get it.
Q+A
If your piece gets jumbled in shipping, gently comb fringe or misplaced fibers by hand. Never pull on fibers, wet, brush, remove pieces or trim ends. Woven pieces are delicate, so please only lightly dust (top to bottom) to preserve and keep clean.
Once it's unwrapped, keep your piece laying flat on a large enough table until ready to hang. For smaller, lightweight wall hangings, I recommend using one small/medium nail to hang. For pieces larger than 20-25 inches, please use two medium/large nails or anchored screws, depending on the structure of your walls. My wall hangings are heavily textured, so this will ensure that the dowel does not warp and that your wall can handle the weight of the piece. Please note — the depth of the hardware should extend slightly past the dowel to ensure that the piece fits flush against the wall.
For local friends who commission a custom piece of art over 5 ft and are not confident installing it themselves, please inquire. Installation is offered by request only to those in Rochester, NY.
